1990 flhtc no headlights radio
1990 flhtc, rode yesterday and noticed the volt meter would go to zero for a split second and then return to normal. got home, noticed no headlight, radio will not turn on, does have clock display reads 12:00, and click coming from under fairing that coincides with volt drop. clicks when it drops and when it returns. does this about every 45 seconds with ignition on and bike not running. help

click is probably a circuit breaker tripping and self-resetting.
the voltmeter in your dash is subject to voltage drop as it is on the same circuit as the lights, radio etc.
use a 'real' volt meter at the battery and confirm that at 3000 rpms you are over 13 volts- no higher than 14.8
