Check my sig for what I got. 235 - 245 at highway speed with temp around 80. Same temp in town driving about 255 - 265. Seems to have went up about 5 degrees overall when I added cams. Maybe it's just me. Hottest I've ever seen it was 320 climbing Sandia Peak in Albuquerque. It was about 80 at the bottom, about 55 up top. Lots of 2nd gear climbing up there though. No adverse effects though. Ran good and strong.
Wow... Not for nuthin', and not sayin' those temps hurt anything, but you guys need one of those Wards fans. Fla...temps in mid 90's...Powervision says my heads are running 236* on the I-State and 240* extended in town. And it is rare to hit those numbers but that is the hottest I've ever seen it. Oh yeah, I also have one of his thermostats. It helps but probably really just postpones the inevitable. And no, I've got no stake in Wards stuff. Just a satisfied user.
2011 Road Glide 103 runs 240-250 on the hwy and 270-285 +- in the city on hot days.
It's been hot as hell here lately .
And yes next year I will have fans of some kind.
I hit 295 yesterday. It was 90 deg outside. I know shaving my heads added heat. I wish I could get an idea of how much. Thanks for the reply's. Hopefully we'll see some more feed back....
FYI...I use lubricating Engineering long drain diesel oil. Some of the shops around here use it. It seems like if it can handle a supercharged tractor trailer. It should handle my bike .

290 isn't going to hurt anything. Harley test their motors in Arizona in the summer by letting them idle for days. If they hold up to that they'll take 290. I have Ward's FCS on both my bikes although I only have the PV on the RG. It is a 107, 10.6 compression, 14.2 afr. On the highway I usually see 270 - 280, my fans are an earlier model on this bike and they don't make a difference above 50 mph. In town my temps stay in the 235 - 245 range. They actually cool down when I come to a stop at a light. The new model FCS have higher output fans that work up to around 80 mph if I remember correctly. Basically if your temps are below 320 you have little to worry about.
