my 98 road king is having starting problems, first it was crank positioning sensor, I have replaced the sensor, now i am getting a 16 battery positive voltage code. I don't know what to do now, any help
Clean all your connections to the starter and to ground from the battery. I am assuming you have a good or maybe new battery? If you don't, then start there.
Remove battery connections, and charge the battery...
with a real charger, not a tender. Clean battery post bolts, and cable eyelets. I got the same codes on my 99 RK, checked the cables at the battery and they felt tight. Changed the sensor, and still had codes. Went back to battery, and found one bolt had been loose for a while evidently. The arching of electricity had welded the bolt/nut together on the positive post, so that's why it felt tight. After replacing the bolt/nut, clearing codes, all was well again.
May not be your problem, but removing/cleaning connectors like mentioned above is good ideal...
