Sorry, I don't get the gas cap holder thing. The tie down part I understand but I see no reason to carry a spare gas cap everywhere I go.
Or...when gassing up I simply put my gas cap on the seat since it will only be a minute or two before it's back on the bike.
Correct part number. No reshaping, plenty of room, nothing special to installing them just a screw driver. Interferes with nothing. The previous style had an actual point on them thus "fangs" and those were a bit wider but flat and I understand would collide, these are scooped shaped and clear just fine.
Thx for confirming Highwayman! Finally got out to the dealer on the weekend and picked up a set of these. Just installed (needed torx for mine not screwdriver...no biggie) and I can also confirm they fit with no mods required with lowers. At full lock, there is about 1/4" to 1/2" clearance.
I have a 2012 Limited.
I have the new fork mounted deflectors and they clear the hard lowers just fine at full lock.
I have the triple t deflector. I had both installed at the same time, so I don't know which did more but I know with them both nice calm air, but a little breeze is still there. Well worth doing both.
It looks like these will not work with the bullet style turn signals
