clank, clank, clank, what do I need to replace?

clank, clank, clank, what do I need to replace?
my front brake caliper makes a clanking noise while hitting some bumps. I did notice that with the bike parked I can move the caliper side to side and make the clanking noise. is there some kind of bushing that needs to be replaced?

the caliper does have bushings, but they arnt likely to be worn on a 10yo or less bike..the caliper floats, it will make a little noise.. grab each part on the front end and give it a shake. lights, tins, cowbells, bars, calipers, fender.. something might be loose.. don't worry about it too much,HD's are known for being noisy.. a loud distinct clanking could be a loose/missing bolt on the tins or fender. i have seen lots of cowbells get tweaked a little, then they hit the lower slider when it moves. you could hold the front brake and rock the bike back and fourth.. watch if the fork legs flex a little, very not likely on a newer bike but the bushings could be worn letting the sliders bang around and hit the cowbells..

I'm sure it's from the brake caliper. I can reproduce the same noise by moving the caliper back and forth while the bikes parked. I've checked the tightness of the two bolts holding the caliper on and they are nice and tight.
Btw the bike is a 99 fatboy so I'm leaning towards something in the mounting hardware. What do you think?
