If you are staying stock you absolutely cannot go wrong with the Screaming Eagles. Beautiful deep, mellow sound without waking your neighbors. I recommend running them with the short slash tips : )

After listening to lots of Youtube videos, and listening to bikes in person, I went with the Cobra NH (not quite 1/2 price compared to many other choices!) - with the rest of the exhaust still stock.
It's deeper and louder for sure, but I can still hear the radio fine with it.
I've ridden next to Screaming Eagles and while they sounded nice, I didn't think they'd meet my objective - which was, make sure the car next to me knows I'm there, yet still be able to listen to the radio, and be able to stand the sound when on long trips.

I'm with you Cobra NH's......1/2 the price. Great sound and adjustable baffles. Just don't lower your bike too much in the rear. You can go with a 1" drop if you keep some air in your shocks.
Have a set of screaming eagle slip on's that have been on two stock bike's. Not to loud but just right for me.
It is ok to run just slip ons on a stock bike.
