I just bought the SE exhaust as I wanted a throatier sound without having any potential "W" issues on my 107.
However my access to unlimited funds is somewhat (ahem) limited therefore I did not buy the Street Tuner at the same time.
The bottom line is the pipes growl satisfactorily when you grab a big right hand of throttle but there is no discernible/significant (to me) decibel change at idle or low RPM; which is just fine for slinking in and out of the neighborhood without rattling peoples windows.
So for me the perfect pipe; loud when you want them, quiet when you don't.
I would say however there is an occasional hesitancy in blip response that I'm hoping SE Street Tuner (my next purchase) will solve.
Similar experience anyone?
BTW - its great to have a dedicated 2018 Heritage line of communication.
I installed the SE Cannons and tuned with the SE Tuner and base stage I map. I notice no hesitancy with engine to throttle response. I only notice the overwhelming euphoria of man, machine, and open road... (even though i've only got about 350 miles on the thing so far). Haven't even broke it in yet.
Regarding the Tab slip ons, I installed mine with the Zombie baffles. I rode it for about a week before my Powervision tuner arrived from Fuelmoto. I downloaded the tune that was provided by Jamie. The difference in the way the bike ran before the tune and after the tune was pronounced. The low end torque improved, acceleration at higher rpm was smoother and didn't fall off above 4500rpm like stock and the redline was also increased. The freer flowing exhaust will create a leaner mixture during combustion. The bike will adapt to a certain extent but you're definitely leaving some performance on the table by not including a tune with the freer flowing exhaust.
MongoMark,
Where did you see/find the tune provided by Jamie? If you could point me in the right direction, Ill save the info for when I get my slip ons. Ordered the engine guard and sissy bar with back rest this week.

Slip ons are next.
It's in the Custom tune section in the Powervision tuner. It'll say improved 114 tune.
Anybody with the Hammock and riders backrest... do you notice there is a lot of slop in the mounting bracket for the riders backrest? There is a detent on the mounting bracket but it doesnt make a very positive engagement. It also seems a little strange to me that the seat only fastens way up front and way out back with nothing in the middle to hold it secure. I havent had a chance to check comfort yet due to 50 mph wind gusts here in beautiful southwest Kansas.
Gizmo I have this seat and back rest. I put it on when I got the Heritage back in sept 17. The back rest has held up just fine and as far as the mounting only at front and rear of seat that's the way MOCO has been mounting the one piece seats for a long time. That being said though I had to send the first Hammock back. The front slot that tang goes in was way to loose and front of seat would move from side to side and you could lift up on it. Replacement seat is fine. Main reason I got it was it had a better rear seat for the ol lady, but I have found this seat to be very comfortable and on long rides its great probably the best H-D seat I have ever had. As good as the Mustang touring seats maybe better.
Just over 300 miles in and I noticed oil on the right bag. Turns out I got a head gasket leak and HD is repairing it under warranty. Hopefully it will be a quick fix and the end of this subject. Anyone else?
