I have them on my Cherry to protect from damage due to the eventual layover/laydown and for appearance. I do think they look good. I really feel Engine gauards should be an OEM standard.
However, with regarding to riding with feet on the bars, I stopped growing a long time ago and wound up vertically challanged. To reach the bars I would need to wear 3" high platform boots and lay way back...of course my arms aren't long enough for that either.
I've been thinking about looking for, or even designing, a set of clamp on pegs that are made to pull the foot position toward the rider for us shorties. Haven't looked, so I don't know if anyone makes any like that.

Yes to be honest I was actually worried that my legs were not going to be long enough to reach the guard. But thank fully they do, but will probably need a back rest for more comfort.
Cheers

Has anybody asked or had the option turned on for running fog lights with high beam on like the touring bikes can?

Default Fairing

Has anyone found a fairing to fit the 18 Heritage Classic?

Default Gas cap question

Anyone changed out their stock Gas cap for some other kind. If you did, what did you do for the decorative cap on the left side?

Would like to go with a flush gas cap but can't find anything matching for left side.

I've only heard of one rider who changed them out so far. I believe he changed both to the HD brass looking raised caps. I'm guessing the only flush cap at present will only be for the gas cap.
Cheers

I have checked several places, and also called Memphis Shades who I thought would be the best bet. No luck yet.

Exclamation Harley Davidson Tallboy handlebars

The H-D Tallboy handlebars in the catalog says 1" taller for riders over 5'10".

Well, they are not taller, they are about 2" wider and have alot less wrist angle.

So, if you are looking for taller handlebars, forget it, if you want stock appearance and feel but more comfort, go for it.

HD claims you need to buy lengthened cables and lines, the clutch cable gets tight, the rest has room.

The amount of effort to change these is extreme, I do not recommend it.
I decided not to install them.

I just got a quick removable drivers back rest for $70.

Harley claims I can only use one with their "Hammock Seat",
Wrong! I have stock seats.
