FrankEV.... you are reading my mind. I do actually want floor boards but no supports are available yet. I was thinking the same about making up some adapter so i could use a support bracket from a Touring bike. Thanks for the link, i had not seen that.
Anyone tried any of the 2018 Softail Slim solo seats available on the Heritage? Hoping these 18 models are like the old days when you can swap seats from different models. A Dyna seat would fit any Dyna of similar years and so on....
Grasshopper Limited sells the backrest, works good and under $100
Hi Stevie,
I see you mounted the Jess fangs inside the grommets like me despite the instructions recommending mounting outside the grommets for potential increased engine cooling. Have you tried both positions?
I haven't had a chance as it is raining every day here at the moment. Would be interested in any feedback you have.

Cheers,
Tried both ways for mounting. To me they look better mounted close to the forks, and I felt they work better that way.
The lay down curved plate with led lights built in is from Custom Dynamics in black.
I have the same from custom dynamics with the bullet rings tail lights . I was wondering if anyone ha s also installed the triple play module that makes everything work together and also flash?

I bought the 3 way run, turn, brake led lights from CD. I wanted all three lights for running and brake lights. The center led's blink yellow when turning even when brakes are applied. I didn't buy the triple play module, I prefer my brake lights to work like my car, steady and not flashing.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced Sissy bar with back rest pad with luggage rack? I've gotten the grasshopper drivers backrest on a recommendation here and I love it.

I did the same thing and satisfied with them close to the forks. Have you had any heat on your thighs since you put those on. In the beginning I was receiving no heat but had a lot of wind deflections on my head. Now the wind deflection is gone but heat is on my thighs.
