The Everything Fat Bob Thread
For now there are no updates planned, buts is a Harley so you never know
So I called my local HD store in Rotterdam to ask them desperately if they could find the part in the Netherlands. And luckily there was one left in stock at another Dutch HD store! Jay!
Way too expensive ofcourse but totally worth it.
Ordered the Thunderbike Torque bar and estimated delivery time is 4-6 weeks.
Have an appointment to install the bar end of August and they are going to add cruise control too.
Cant wait!
Added the killer customs lower fork covers at the weekend as well as custom
caliper inserts. Also added black clutch/brake lever pins but you cant see them in these pictures.
Bars are so nice to ride with and the gauge is real easy to read.
Phone mount also works perfectly.
Just a few more bits to black out now. Lower rockers and rear pulley and a few bolts here and there.
I kept the original tank. I like the side-mounted tank cap. I cut off the dashboard bracket and had the tank repainted. The only thing that bothered me was the dashboard on the tank and I wanted to keep everything as original as possible.
Homebrew mount
Although this is all moot now as I have a 5gal Fat Boy tank to fit with a Lowrider ST central console.
Black FLSB 5 gallon fuel tank and pump
FXLRST tank trim
HD Gloss black flush tank caps
Ricks shorty adjustable levers
Extended clutch and front brake lines
Thrashin Supply Brake pedal
Thrashin clutch and brake lever clamps
Thrashin handlebar bag
These pics will have to suffice until I get more recent pictures with the new parts fitted

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I love it, just waiting on the emblem for the top of the tank which I will customise as it says FXLRST!!
Also, need black bolts, and a solution to my saddle not fitting...
I may raise the tank at the front and elongate the rear tank mount holes to slide it forward 1/4".
Anyway... here she is.

It fits better than the saddlemen but Im not keen on the style or position. Seems to put me higher and further forwards.
Very happy with the tank. Rode a 70 mile trip this evening and the range states 150 miles remaining which is nice!
Im currently contemplating a twin Baja LP4 front light conversion. One amber one white. But I think Ill have to cut the fairing to fit them.
