Yeah this one came with some wheel weights but not a ton. The one thing I did notice was the fact that there were weights that were slapped on a good 1/2" away from the main group of weights which I thought was weird.

When they tried to balance it, the machine called for a bunch more weights plus a couple that were about 1/2" from the rest of the weights just like the original weights were. This didn't help though and didn't stop the shaking. They ended up putting almost 2 full strips of weights on the thing.

I know my stock front takes quite a bit of weight to balance but nothing like that. Bad luck this go round I guess.

I wonder if they used Harley riser shims and the factory47 handlebar shim stacked together to make the 1" clamping area one the Malo bars work. You can see a small gap in the riser on the video.

Factory47 specs for Malo bars.

GG&B,
By no means am I an expert, but it doesn't look like the Todd's bars have any knurling in the clamping area. Did you have any concerns about this in the install, or have you had any issues with the bars moving in the riser. Again, this bar looks great on your bike and seeing yours and the malo bar on the video have got me thinking.

It was a thought. There is no knurling on the bars or on the risers. With the 1.5" clamping area having so much more contact surface area, I don't think it will be a problem. That being said, I have not pushed too ridiculously hard on the bars to check.

Thanks. I was really worried about them being too tall, and I even ordered 1.5" risers but so far have been happy with the added height and pullback of the stock risers. The fairing hides the risers, and I like that. It does not look bad without it, but it looks better with it.

Also at slow speed I don’t feel the heavy front wheel like the stock wheel and tire setup.

Curious to know how you like those night dragons so far? I found a good deal on a brand new set and am wondering what you think of them? Have you ridden them in the rain?

I have ridden in the rain and pushed it really hard on the twisties in hot and cold weather and I absolutely love them. Far better than the stock tire. With the stock tire the front wanted to push/ wash in the turn and I feel none of that w these they just stick and go. I have used every inch of them and they stick right to the edge. Also they were perfectly balanced mounted on my bst carbon wheels I have zero weights which I was supper happy about.only issue I have had is that they were very greasy from when they were new I almost wrecked twice in the first 3 miles becasuse they were like riding on ice. But after that good to go.
These are the radials with a high speed rating.
rear-180/55R18 74w
Front- 140/75R17 67v

The CARBON wheels are cool!

I made a set of 3-spoke Fat-Bike wheels that hold air for potable air tank.

Is that company (can't remember name) still around? There is a shop in Lakewood that has had a set sitting around for years.
18x6 rear and a 21x3.5 front. Perfect for my Deuce. Already put nice 5 spokes on there years ago so does not make sense.
(does any must have part purchase? :-)

Changing wheel and tire weight makes a HUGE difference. Lighten your bike by even 10 lbs and you CAN feel it.

My custom part bucket list includes "Faux" Carbon covers to go over my existing wheel spoke.
Would be mostly for looks but would also be more aero. Aero wheels will make any bike perform better at speeds also.

OK so FVCK ME!

There are only a hand full of parts (I thought) I wanted to buy for my new bike.
A LOT of stuff I can make myself. (body work, custom risers, etc)

Googled Carbon moto wheels and WOW! Found something fairly expensive I WANT!

LOTS of complete MORONS on BOOB TUBE! "CycleCruza" What a Jackass.
"carbon wheels are a waste of money" Then he weights them for a 6+ lb savings and on the ride says they turn in better/faster, accelerate faster etc???

What else is there besides the looks and cool factor.
"really expensive at 2 to 4K per set. ?? Hardly. What do some of the pricier custom Billet wheels go for?

Serious bicyclist' spend that much all day long on Bicycle wheels. Zipp Sub 9 rear disc wheel is 2100 for just the rear!

BST is the company and they have stayed in business for years. They make OEM Ducati carbon wheels so I would trust them on a cruiser.

Glad I didn't find my dream....6-spoke swept..... wheel.

I WANT!!!! Post more wheel pics!

I looked at BST wheels and instead of five-spoke (Twin TEK) model:
https://brocksperformance.com/bst-tw...fat-bob-18-19/
my eye caught split-spoke (Torque TEK) model:
https://brocksperformance.com/bst-to...fat-bob-18-19/
to be more like OEM. I actually like the original balloon look of tires :-)
