Here's my 2018 Fat Bob FXFBS. I'm about to change out the stock tires. Thinking Metzeler Cruisetec or Avon Cobra. Avon also has a Cobra Chrome, not sure what the difference between cobra and cobra chrome is though. Leaning towards the Metzeler as I've heard a lot of good things about their tires.
I've been on the tire merry-go-round, and am currently running Avon Cobra Chromes. I haven't been impressed; I've had three instances of the rear end breaking loose and sliding when that never happened on the stock or prior tires. It makes no sense, the Cobra Chromes should be super sticky, but -- it is what it is.
One thing about changing tires though, it really takes away some of the aggressive look of the Fat Bob with those dual-sport-looking tires. Putting street-looking tires makes it look more like every other Harley out there (which could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on what you're going for).
And they're expensive. I found the stock tires at killer sale prices at Surdyke for like $244/pair and stocked up, so when these Cobra Chromes are finally done, I'm going back to those.

Thanks for the info, gives me something to think about. Never thought about how it could change the aggressive appearance as well, and I def want my bike looking as such.
BTW, how do you like the mirrors? Visibility over stock, vibrations?
I have to move my elbows with these just as I did with the OE mirrors. I just wanted something lower profile. I can see what I need to with them but I don't 100% rely on mirrors.
Had Ohlins suspension installed. Just got the bike back, took it for a short ride it is a little cold. So far very nice, will need a few houndred mile ride in the spring to really know. I had legend installed in the front last year and it ruined the ride of the bike made long trips not pleasant, this is a nice improvement.
