I'm getting a little frustrated with this update. I have 4 different disk formatted on a Windows computer, downloaded both update files 3254D & 4125D. going to step 10 (Disk2) should be my next step. I boot up connect and "Sandisk 3.2 Connects" then "No media available" . No error Nothing. I have erased and downloaded and retried ever since this has been published.

Just double checking because I've missed stuff before going too fast - are you booting up on accessory power and disks are formatted exfat? What size media? The old bikes didn't like certain size drives or brands that may have been lower quality.

Hopefully OP is reading all the fine print in the directions for the update and abiding by the guidelines you're alluding to.
OP, how long are you waiting before giving up? The system can take some time to start the process.

"No media available" means that IFCU sees it not as an upgrade drive but as a media drive. It can happen if directory structure isn't what IFCU is expecting. Disk2 should have four folders and one file in the root.
Yes, make sure it's formatted exFat and not Fat32. I made that mistake. Make sure the thumb drive is fully seated. My drive has a blue light that glows when a connection is made and sometimes it was not. If nothing works get another 32gb USB-C drive.
Yep exfat (all) Completed on an HP laptop. Booted on accessory. tried putting music on the drives to make sure they work, then Re formatted. Downloaded files from HD site and put on disk and unzipped. Deleted zip file. only thing there is "INSTANA_260004125D" with the files inside. I'm waiting 5-10 minutes before connecting thumbdrive to connector. I see it acknowledges Sandisk 3.2 connected then the No media shows.

That's what's wrong with your disk.
Format that disk again
unzip INSTANA_260004125D.zip somewhere else and move everything inside INSTANA_260004125D folder to your thumbdrive
ETA: to avoid long time waiting for copy it again you can rename INSTANA_260004125D in the root of your drive to something else, like "DELETE_ME" and then move everything from inside that folder one level up then delete that renamed (DELETE_ME) folder. Renaming is necessary, because inside that INSTANA_260004125D folder is another one with the same name and you won't be able to move it, because of the name clash.

Followed rideonva advise, getting a little farther. First update installed next has failed 5 times. looking at the disk I now have Movies, Pictures, & Music folders. It starts the update, Validating update then ERROR. I'll keep trying.
