Followed rideonva advise, getting a little farther. First update installed next has failed 5 times. looking at the disk I now have Movies, Pictures, & Music folders. It starts the update, Validating update then ERROR. I'll keep trying.
Yeah, that is expected (Movies, Music etc) - that's what IFCU created (it's running android on top of QNX - real time Unix system, so what you see is standard android filesystem). I'd format the thumb drive again (make sure it's exFat), copy unpacked files and try again. One thing different - pull out the main fuse while you prepping your thumb drive. Based on many many posts a lot of errors had been fixed with a fuse pull...
If you havent seen this link, it might help. It explains in detail how to prepare the thumb drives and how to install the software. There is a troubleshooting chapter that explains how to fix some common errors that might occur during the install.
I've noticed after I installed the most recent infotainment update that I no longer have the option of speaker config (see picture below). If I go to settings / sound / speaker set up / speaker configuration I get the screen below. Before the update I would get a screen where I could have selected different configurations. Note, my 2024 FLHX audio system is stock / no upgrades so it maybe HD removed the option to change with this update. Or do I have an issue?

Working as expected. Only an upgraded amp should have the ability to change speaker configuration, since thats the only time its needed.
Well I went to the Library and checked out a Windows computer, Re long format EXFAT all thumb Drives. Re Downloaded both updates. The first update previously loaded, but since then Update available, Verifying Error. Product info has updated & there is a Software update in setup every thing seems to work.
I did not have that issue but I had the one where nothing happens when USB-c is plugged in...
I just started over and it worked. I just reformatted, deleted the previous download and did it again....
It worked the second time.
Seriously getting tired of being a beta tester for Harley Davidson. I’m thinking of dumping this computer on two wheels for something with points and condenser.
The Skyline operating system sucks.
