I'm waiting on delivery of a Shotgun Shock for my Deluxe. Wondering what others that run them have done with their front ends. I've been looking at Intimidators, Burly and Progressive. Opinions, thoughts and experiences with these, or any other products, would be appreciated.....especially if you're running them with SS's.

+1. We are running the Shotguns and looking into the front suspension as well.
I've been wondering about the monotubes. I have a set of springs and ricors sitting at the house, but thought about putting them up for sale and getting a set of monotubes
I have the SS air ride system on my 06 Deluxe. Before I installed the SS I had dropped my front an inch, pulled the springs and dropped the Progressive gas monotubes in it. Compared to the gas tubes, springs and oil is like the stone age. Dipping when braking is all but gone unless you really have to mash the brake. It also push's the front tire down onto the road harder when cornering or rolling through town or out on curvy country roads. It's very firm and much more responsive especially if you have to make drastic evasive moves from when a**holes pull out in front of you. One just has to be prepared and ready to ride a whole new bike with these suspension mods. It's like I told my Son who I am teaching to ride on the streets. All bikes ride different and with these mods it's a whole new bike each and every time you get on it. It's going to be a new ride each time you adjust the air. How your bike handles today, it may be a tad different tomorrow because you have made changes to the air system. It's nothing for experienced riders to deal with, nothing worth scarring you away. I only say this because if there are new riders out there, like my Son, it does make sense to take note of that.
