Default Sony 310btx hu settings?

I have the 310btx hu, BT 7.1's with polyfill in the fairing, BT 6.5's in my lowers with a single sheet of polyfill in the back of the speaker cavity and a BT 4180 driving all of it.
This seems to be a pretty popular set up so I was wondering where everyone is setting the adjustments in the hu itself. I have been tinkering in the garage trying to get the best sound but it's tough to tell what would be best on the road. Trying to adjust it with any amount of volume is downright deafening in a single bay garage. Being buried in snow sucks....
I know sound preference is different for everyone but I'm just looking to gather some opinions.
Btw...I listen to all kinds of rock and metal (except for the stuff that sounds like Cookie Monster on lead vocals). I have the front channel to the fairing and the rear to my lowers.

This is how I have mine set up and it rocks!

1. Listening Position = "Normal"
2. Fader Balance = "Center"
3. Subwoofer = Phase Normal
4. Subwoofer Level = 0 db
5. HPF = Freq 80 hz
6. DM+ Advanced = "ON"
7. Rear Bass Enhancer = "OFF"
8. Dynamic Loudness = "OFF"
9. EQ7 Preset = XPLODE

There you go Sir!

Holy Cow you got that thing going BOOM for real. With as many speakers as you have on those two wheels I guess you don't have to turn it up much with Xplode EQ for it to rock.

I have the 210X
Everything baselined except HPF is set to 80hz slope 1. Got me thinking I should try some other settings

Thanks Gann, looks like My settings are pretty close to yours. The only difference is my EQ setting. I made a custom one that I dropped the very bottom out of. I felt like I was trying to push to many lows through my 4 speakers with the " xplode" setting. I should be able to tell more when I'm able to get it outside but at least I know I'm close!!!

Maybe I'm missing something but if you don't have subwoofer and have the HPF set at 80hz wouldn't that kill anything below 80hz from going to any of the speakers killing low end?

Yes Sir!! But going down the highway at 75MPH you want it set at about 80hz. Now if you are in the parking lot you can turn it down to 50 or 60Hz and get all the bass notes you want. Can't hear those bass notes on the highway though.

The HPF also has slope settings so you can set how quickly you want it to "roll off" at the cut off point. So it doesn't simply cut off ALL freqs below 80.

I can say that my 6X9's in the bags HUM!! at this setting.

Gann - I mess around with Xplode. I need MOAR speakers.
