Yup. They seem to care less. I bought them from a forum member so I’m not the original purchaser. They were brand new in the box but since I didn’t buy them I’m on my own. Oh well, live and learn.

I blew the tweeters on my milles in the first ten minutes. Didnt even have it turned up much over half volume, amp gain was low since i was still tuning.

Wow that got me to thinking about my setup. Since I don't have the speakers yet I am going to install in my rear pods "permanently" I set the rear channel of my PN4.1000D to high pass and lowered the gain so that at full volume they still hadn't reached the distortion point (they are Harley Boom! 5 1/4). I wonder if that is enough to protect them or not?

I may have mistakenly thought that speakers primarily blew when you turned them up so loud they distorted. I don't recall ever "blowing" a speaker, but then again this is the first motorcycle install I've ever done.

Had that happen on a set of them too. Luckily I got a hold of a person there that was having a good day and they sent me a replacement set. I was shocked and impressed
