I think I already know the answer to this. I want to hear yours.
So, I have a new amp, putting out 110w per ch. The speakers are 200w rated. Previous amp was 180w per ch.
After 5 or 6 days, suddenly, the volume seemed to decrease a bit. Then it came back a few seconds later. Huh.?
The next day same thing. Then the left speaker started sounding like the radio station was fading out. Except, I was playing the USB. After that, the sound quality pretty much doesn't sound like it did. Never really cranked it very loud either. Actually played it louder with the previous amp.
? amp ? speaker ?
FYI.... The new amp was set using the SMD distortion detector and the SMD crossover control tools.

No overheating. Everything brand new. Worked perfect for 7 days,
Everything tight, clean etc. Didn't even play it that loud. Maybe half. Going to swap the speakers to hear how it sounds. I have my doubts.
It's a Mmats 4110 Moto 602

that model mmats amp has a pretty good track record, make sure connections are good and not vibrating and causing an intermittent type issue. are the speakers new or used and are they the old moto 602 version or the new model? i've heard of speaker failures with that speaker, so i'd try a speaker swap after knowing that my connections were good.

Where is your amp grounded to? It should be grounded at the battery and not to the frame anywhere. It also may be those speakers as the moto 602's are fragile and have a history of blowing as they are not real efficient. I have blown 2 sets personally.

I have the complete wiring harness I bought with the amp. That sucker was almost as much as the amp itself ! It is grounded @ the battery terminal. Everything wired per diagram.
Tonight I swapped the wires on the speakers. When I did, then it was the other speaker with the crappy sound. So, it's not the speakers.

I know from other experiences this can happen, but, after only 7 or 8 short rides ? This is all brand new. I did have things that were new,(and junk) right out of the box though.
