Default 2006 Wideglide help

I have a stock Wideglide. It has the stock dyna mini ape style chubby bars on it. I want to convert it to a street slammer type bar set up. I assume I won't have to change any of the wiring but I need suggestions and pictures if possible of possible set ups. I will need new pull back risers and bars. I love the look of my bike except for the handlebars. They just look undersized.

Those might be the Harley street slammer bars, or they might be something with less than 7" rise.
A lot of dealers stock those street slammer bars, so it's pretty easy to hold 'em up to the bike and see what you think. I did that at one point, and then decided to go with something lower.

If you go lower, you'll probably need to move the turn signals so they don't hit the tank. Not a big deal, since you'll need to remove the wiring when installing new handlebars anyway.

They are street slammers. They come stock with a 7" rise I believe. Does anybody know if they will bolt on to my 06 Wideglide without much hassle. I would assume the wiring will reach but I am concerned about the clutch cable maybe being too long, the brake lines needing to be changed and of course.. I don't want the bars causing the front running lights to hit the tank. Its too cold here to take my bike to the dealership and they don't have the street slammers in stock anyway. Has anybody done this exact swap? My Wideglide has the stock mini apes on it from 2006.

I can't figure this out and the dealership isn't being very helpful. I was told that the bars I need are Harley part number Street Slammer Bar-55975-08A

BUT... when I went to the dealership they looked them up and told me they fit the 2005 and the 2007 but they don't show fitment for the 2006. I looked in my Harley catalog and it clearly states 99 and later FXDWG. So... I went up online to some dealerships and looked up the bars myself and sure enough.. they don't show fitment for the 2006 but they show fitment for 2005 and 2007. I don't get it.
I don't want to order the bars if they are the wrong ones. Has anybody here put these exact bars on a 2006 Wideglide?

There shouldn't be any difference between bars that fit a 2007 Wide Glide and bars that fit a 2006 Wide Glide. The information in HD's system, and on its website, is probably just wrong.
