Did you have to gap the rings yourself or did they come pregapped? The ring compressor looks nice, mine was about $7 from the local auto store - I had to cut it down some but worked great. In Matt's Thread, he showed how dirty his compressor was, something I probabably could have done better - cleaning the ring compressor.

I had all intentions but then I said screw it and had them gap them.

What did you clean your cylinders with?

Like you, I was planning to do all that myself but when I went to AMS in Fort Worth to pick up my bored cylinders and new pistons, they already had the pistons and rings installed ready to go.

If you want A1 advice on cleaning cylinders, I would hit up mattVA! I blieve there is good info in his build Thread.
