Looking good! Only a few more bolts keeping that baby in! Get some rags under the case to case seal when you separate! Good idea to put a strap around the front of the transmission also
Looking good. Plug the crank case holes with rags and don't beat the piston pins out find a way to draw them free.
I picked up ring compressor and wrist pin tool but I'll be damned if I can put my hands on the pin tool, I've looked everywhere

Meant to do that, thanks for reminding me

I hear ya, I take pics, I wish I would have taken one of where I put the wrist pin tool

Thanks! Yep, following the book on that strap trick
My wrist pins weren't really too stuck but I did have to use something to get them going. I used parts from my steering race install tool. It's just a long threaded rod, two nuts and big washers. I slid a socket over one end to push against the wrist pin. Worked well maybe you can come up with the same from home depot.
I got the pistons off with little trouble, tomorrow I will gut the cam chest and remove cases from tranny and get it cleaned up a bit to ship off.
Spent today cleaning cylinders and heads for transport and building their shipping container.
Guy doing my heads told me not to go to any trouble cleaning the heads, said they would take care of that, sweet
I really wanted to go 117" but have decided on 107". Having Baisley bore my cylinders, they use Axtell pistons, and they will do a very stout job on my heads.
To help keep cost down keeping my 57's and I think we are in for a very pleasant surprise when it's all done, I think this is going to be a kick-*** 107" :icon_dance-patch:
