while the shop service manual is pretty good, that video is very helpful. the manual shows to remove the cam plate, one must remove the oil pump screws where as the video shows is not necessary to disassemble the oil pump saving an extra step.
Just posting up to agree with others. After labor on removing the tank, rocker covers, and rockers then reinstalling them I think it is worth doing the adjustable pushrods. And like mentioned gives you that much more freedom on cam choice. Depending on how many miles you have on the bike you might want to get the tappets replaced as well.
am going to be getting into the cam chest next week, already have a set of S&S premium lifters, S&S quickies and S&S chain tensioner and bearings and bearing removal/install tool. am getting a noisy lifter and decided to do cams at the same time.
found a set of woods 222 cams on E bay that included a set of woods night prowler lifters for $270.00, look like new. will see how it goes, but with the shop manual and help from the S&S video, looks like a strait forward job.

Just note the difference in the video and the instructions on flats to turn the quickie pushrods. I ended up going back in and adjusting them to what the instructions state.

that is correct, on the video the guy shows 3.3 turns, where as S&S instructions says use 4 turns.
