Most affordable compression adjustable rear shocks?
Long time reader, first time poster. Who makes the most affordable compression adjustable rear shocks for a 2016 Street Bob? I've done searches but couldn' find any threads or posts pertaining to this question. Thanks in advance! Bill.
Im not sure about most affordable but, I have legends revo-As and they are amazing. A little more expensive than the progressive 444s I had before and it was a night and day difference. I highly recommend legends.
Probably Drag Specialties. But the Progressive 412 are not bad shocks too. https://www.bikebandit.com/aftermark...shocks/p/27126
Just remember the more travel you have the more comfort you have, generally. An 11" 412 with 2" of travel is not going to ride as well as a 13 1/2" 412 with 3" of travel.

You can only adjust preload on the 412s. I can't say much about budget shocks but for what it is worth I have 412s in 12.5" and I'll be upgrading to Ohlins 763s this summer. 412s helped raising the rear to improve cornering, but they are only slightly better than stock shocks.
OP, what is affordable in your mind? That would provide folks with a budget to give you suggestions on.

Only top of the line shocks have compression adjustment
if you meant rebound adjustability then thats a different story

I'll have to go a different route, there aren't any that are even close to my budget.
Stock shocks are 12", right? I may just get longer shocks for more travel and call it a day
