Default Se 110"??

I recently purchased a 2015 FXDB and was told the original owner of the motorcycle had a SE 110" kit installed. I can tell the pushrods are the SE adjustable type and it has a SE air cleaner on it, but is there any way to verify the displacement without pulling the jugs? Is there some secret tell-tale sign that will let me know? One thing that leads me to believe it is not the stock 103 would be the pull when I twist the throttle. I have owned a couple of 103's and I've never felt one pull this hard all the way through the RPM range, to the point I can feel the clutch slip with the initial twist of the throttle. I want to build a map for my Dynojet PowerVision, but I want it to be accurate. Any help/advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Ride Safe!!

Call the MoCo and have them run the vin and check to see if an SE kit was installed.. They should be able to tell you that.. And if they did they most likely tuned the bike with SEPST or similar.. I wouldn't mess with the tune till you find out for sure.. Cause you just might mess it up..

I didn't think of calling the MoCo. I'll give that a shot. I know it wasn't tuned with SEPST, because the previous owner gave me the Dynojet PowerVision he used to tune it. I don't know if there's any way to tell from the PV what it is, but I haven't dug into it at all.

You could stick a bore scope in the spark plug hole and if you get lucky you might be able to see the part numbers on top of the piston...waaaay more fun than making a simple phone call lol.

Sorry didn't know the PV was already installed.. If it's running as good as you say why would you want to change anything??

If it was this kit from H-D, it should have SE marked on the heads on the right hand (air cleaner) side.

If it was not an H-D kit then don' know.

Two things.

1. Do a compression check and report what the psi is
2. Check the displacement value in winpv of the tune

3. Have Dynojet tell
You what the tune is

That's exactly what I thought but wasn't sure cause I never purchased an SE kit.. I tend to use the services from Hillside and Fuel Moto.. Both very knowledgeable companies and easy to deal with..
