S&S cover over SE filter
fit over a SE air filter?
I know I'd have to drill out the center to bolt it up, but I'm wondering
if the shape and size would match the SE filter.
I presentlyhave the SE filter, but love the look of the S&S teardrop
and don't want to change out the whole breather system to S&S.
On another note, if someone has an old S&S cover they don't want,
you could send it to me and I could answer my own question
.Ray.

I have the S&S kit for the EFI Dyna's but it is notched to make it past tank.....wouldnt be an issue with a tank lift though, cover would clear tank. Youd have to cut the "cone" off the back, get it pretty flat and like you said drill a hole. Trotter that RSD is SICK...what did they hit you for that?

Trotter,
Yourreply shows the kit including an S&S cover, backing plate and high-quality filter element.
I want to use just the cover with the Screamin' Eagle filter I have on my bike now. Do you think this can be done easily.
Ray.
Just put the whole S&S unit on my Street bob.

There are 3 screws that hold the S&S cover to the back plate. If the SE back plate has the threaded posts, then it will work.

How close is the question I need to answer.
I think I'm gonna have to get my hands on a cover to figure this one out.
