Have you ever seen two bikes on this site that twin matches? Not unless they are bone stock and straight off the truck. It is flattery and Hey if youv'e done something really cool why not share. I think thats part of what is cool.....getting the stock bike and adding or taking off what you want finally revealing your baby months or even years later. Just have fun--I am and I just started.

Is this what you are talking about? If so, I think some of the compliments have gone straight to your head. I asked you 3 questions and you gave more info than I asked for. Personally, I don't want my bike to look like someone elses. The shocks are a pretty standard question from almost everyone on here to others that have aftermarket shocks. I was curious about your lights....I have no intention of removing mine. Finally, I have already been considering these badges. If you care to look at some other bikes on here, there are a few people that had these badges already...they look like Fat Bob emblems. If you get this much of an ego trip, or it truely bothers you that much, maybe you shouldn't be so eager to answer someone's questions.

"Hey Mike,
Thanks for the compliment. Yes I used the progressive 412's on the back. I did not lower the front. I did build a 21" wheel. Thats the difference in the front end look. Yes I removed the turn signals completlely. I use hand signals. I just put the badges on. I have no idea if they are even genuine MoCo. I bought them off the internet because I liked the way they looked.
Thanks
Mike

I don't mean to be a dick and this whole thing may be purely coincidental, but you can't post pics and expect people not to see something they like and wouldn't mind emulating. If my neighbor was building a bike exactly like mine, I would be upset. You are on the internet and I seriously doubt you will see another bike like yours on here, much less in your neighborhood.

Trampsinger, I think your ride is tastfully done and a picture of it sits on my desk top for inspiration. My feeling is that is how the motor company should of made the bike in the first place. I had the same feeling about my 90 Fat Boy when I sold it in 05 and the aniversary model looked the same.

if someone wants to create a replica of my bike thats cool.
it took me a year so even if it only takes them 6 months mine will prob be completely diff by then anyway
dont think i have ever copied someones work to the letter, but lots of bikes have inspired me with diff ideas
take somethin and put your spin on it

Man thanks a lot. thats really a big compliment. I wasn't acusing anyone, I was only asking an opinion. I was probably just being a bitch. With that, I digress.
