The instructions say "Place the mounting bracket in position on the lower fork below the triple clamp."
Is there a problem putting them on opposite forks (LH on the right), upside down on top of the triple clamp? That's how I thought it was supposed to be until I saw the brackets were stamped LH and RH.
I'm sure the forks would bottom out first but I still don't like the idea of putting them under the lower fork brace.
ok, mine was from Kuryakyn. not sure on the harley clamps, let someone else answer this one, don't want to give you bum info.
my Kuryakyn's mount anywhere on the forks, they were was a 49mm clamp.
