Thanks for the heads up! After spending the money on the kit and a few other goodies I don't have any left for an emergency trip to the dentist.

Make sure you loosen the pinch bolts on the top triple clamp or you will goober the fork caps. I used a big adjustable wrench on mine with no damage, tape yours up if it makes you feel better.Oil 4.3" or 110mm from top of tube compressed for 06 and later. The stock springs have about 3" of preload, and are a mother to get back in. Before I put the spring back in, I find out exactly where the threads on the fork cap catch the threads on the fork tube and mark it with a felt pen, so I know where to start turning the cap nut. I put on gloves and push and turn with the palm of my hand. I recommend covering your fuel tank and fender to protect them. Maybe aftermarket springs don't have as much preload and are easier to install.
