After much thinking and dreaming, I decided to checkout my local dealer. A used, chromed out Fat Boy, caught my attention and I almost went home with that. Then I seen my Fat Bob and my mind changed and had to have it...

congrats you will love it. I have an 09 bought in Sept of 08. Can't wait for the weather to break.

Wanted a Harley for years. Didn't really have a preference on what model but knew I wanted fuel injection. Started searching Craigslist and found an anniversary '03 Wide Glide (carb) from an individual that was loaded out. If I remember, it had about 9K on it. The guy wanted $8900. After two test rides, I offered the guy 85 $100 bills, cash money. He turned me down. I then offered 86 $100 bills. He said no again so I walked out of his garage.

That same night, while doing more Craigslist searching, I ran across an '04 Wide Glide (fuel injected) with 11K for $8900. I called the guy a scheduled a look for the next day. The bike was so clean you could (and still can) eat off of it. Long story short, I offered the guy $8500 and he accepted. The first guy did me a huge favor turning down my offer because I ended up with a better bike and fuel injection.

Went in to my local dealer to buy a shirt before I went to look at a used 2008 SB. I was talking to a friend that was a sale guy at the dealer. While we were talking I sat on a 2010 SB and that was the end of the story..LOL two days later that 2010 ended up in my garage.

I built 3 custom bikes for a local gang member and one day he came and took my Sportster off me, gave me $11,500 bucks and told me where my new bike was to be found...I took the money, flew to the pick up point, paid the dude and rode the bike home....he knew his bikes he did and I am very happy with the new bike....its perfect!

Cool helluva deal

I got my 2007 Street Bob in July of 2010. I had been bike-less for about 3 years. A good bud of mine had bought a Street Bob new in 2007. In the 3 years he owned it he put under 4k miles on it. I had always told him to let me know when he was done with "my" bike. He had lost interest in riding and I had been chomping at the bit to get back on two. Short story long, he offered to sell me the 07 SB with under 4k miles for $8,000. I had to jump at the chance and have been grinning like an idiot since.

Cheers!

Default 2009 Street Bob in Denim Black

Been wanting a bike for a long time, but for financial goals and a psycho ex always telling me 'no' nothing came of it till recently. I looked at a few different American manufacturers, changed my mind a hundred times. Originally liked the WG but once I saw the SB up close and after sitting on her I was sold. This is my first bike and I couldn't be happier, it's everything I wanted and I couldn't be happier!

I went about 20 years without riding, always wanted to get back on, finally jumped back in and bought a 105th Anny Sporty in June '08. As they were cleaning it up, I sat on an '08 Super Glide and immediately thought 'Wait a minute. This is petty damn comfortable.'
Rode my new Sporty home and was grinning from ear to ear for about 6 months. Then I got the itch for something bigger. Turned out, it was the exact same time the moco announced the "Trade in your '09 - 07 Sporty for MSRP on a big twin" promotion. I rode up to the dealer about twice a week for a month looking at the Dynas, particularly an '09 Black and Silver Low Rider and mine. Never looked at any other models.
I still stop by the dealer about once a month checking out what's new, but mine fits me too well to think about getting something different. I love this bike. As far as comfort and handling, I think I've got it exactly where I want it.

Almost bought two different Superglides at dealers in the $9000-$10000 range. One was sold underneath of me while I waited for my credit union to call me back.

I was looking at a Craigslist ad for a couple of weeks for a 2002 FXD for $6800 at 9026 miles with some extra chrome, windshield and sissybar. Figured something had to be wrong with it because it had been listed for awhile and the price was about $1000-$1500 below what they're sold at around here. Checked it out finally and it was a clean, well maintained bike. Bought it after I convinced my credit union that it was worth more than the $5400 NADA price.

Going to put forwards and mini-apes on it soon. Other than those items, its perfect for me and I'm loving it.
