Such a simple mod, but what a difference in stability. I had to give mine another 1/2" clearance between them but a small spacer fixed that up. Bike has been on the lift the past couple days while I do my swap and not a worry about stability.
Thanks Vic

I tried this mod yesterday but I couldn't get the jack to fit right under the bike. If I put the rear support just barely past the oil drain plug, the front support hits the sidestand spring. Maybe I can make it work with some spacers to make the distance between the 2 support arms wider. Looks like it will rest on the sidestand rubber stop even then, which will keep it from being totally stable.

Dale, that is the same issue I had, I added a 1/2" spacer to one side and it works perfectly now.

So....remove the jiffystand stop. It only slips on the frame. I had the same issue. I didn't add a spacer. I removed the stop. Again, simple solution.

Just ran out and bought this jack and did this mod. Works great! Thanks so much for the solution to the dyna jacking issues. I read jack threads and reviews until I was dizzy and when I saw your video thats all I needed to see.

OK, I'm in. I just bought a Larin jack, that is similar to the other ones, but has steel wheels. Can't complain... $50 off Craigslist.

Thanks Vic!
