Appreciate it. Yeah, I didn't realize how strong 1/2" grade 8's are. Each bolt can handle more than the entire weight of the bike, in both tensile and shear loading. I like having peace of mind though.
However, I left the bike on the jack overnight last night and this morning I'm definitely noticing some slight bending of the two rear bolts.
That sounds strange especially because I've left my dyna fully lifted on my modded jack for close to a month (about 4-5yrs ago) while I did cams and various other projects and the bolts never budged an inch.
Ya sure you're using grade 8 bolts 1/2" dia bolts?

This may help:
Yes sir. I am actually a mechanic. I think I may have not torqued them down enough and the bolts are just angled slightly. I deliberately didn't want to over tighten them so that the jack wouldn't bind, but I may need to tighten them more.

Yeah, you might want to tighten them a little more. Be mindful of getting it too tight or the lift arms may bind. I may have used a dab of grease on either side of my spacers just to keep it smooth.
