One more thing.... I didn't have the time or patience to grind down the nubs leftover from the crossmember removal so when I installed the lift pads, I turned them so the nub was on the outside of the frame otherwise they interfered with the jack seating all the way down. The nub is about 1/4" or so.

From the looks of the picture, the pads are bolted on just like the sears jack. If so, I don't see why you couldn't perform the same mod.

Another idea that came to me but I didn't feel like tackling was...
the support across the very front of the jack....could cut if off and weld it inside about 3-4" and the jack would no longer have any issues with the jiffy stand. I was thinking about just cutting it out. I can't imagine the jack would suffer any rigidity issues.
