Actually my bad, I assumed since this thread was about the Sear lift, you were asking about it.

Yeah that's why I quoted the guy who mentioned the high position lift for lowered bikes.

The minimum you need between the pads is 13.25",

I picked up the bolts yesterday in grade 8 from Broward Bolt in Florida for $1.92 each. Hardware store wanted $6 each.

I just wante to thank "Vic" and "kpolak" for posting their ideas. Hope they are still around. I did make a modification to their design that I would like to share. I noticed that on the OE jack, the skids where free floating. The mod needed "thru-spacers" to restore the OE design. Using the bolts alone added restriction to the lifting mechanism when the bolts are tightened.

I applaud the effort.... But that's a lot of extra work that was not needed.
