Cams
I ended up with 3 bikes needing a .120 and 1 bike needing a .130 to line it all up.
All bikes went to Andrews 54H.
Anyone else have shim results?
I was able to remove the exhaust, a/c, cam chest cover and front rocker cover. I was trying to do it with the tank still intact. I'm not sure I'll be as successful with the rear. Yes I'm reusing the stock pushrods.
It'll probably take me a while to finish it but at least it's started and well, you gotta start somewhere.
I didn't shoot any video because I left my camera in my other car.
I'm not an idiot but I have to say even though I'm feeling very adventurous I do have a healthy fear of what I'm doing. It was pretty cool just looking at the rockers and external cam timing gears.
My plan is that after I get the motor buttoned back up, I'm going to deal with cleaning up the rust off my TH. It's in such a tight spot (between the two head pipes starting from the collector and working back to darn near the first bend. It's a mess.)
I'm going to spray the head pipes black and leave the collector and heat shields chrome. It sounds cool in my head. Hope it translates well in reality.
I do still need to hit the office supply store for the lifter holder tool:
I remember a company who would plug the ends then dip the exhaust. Why can't they do that? Oh well...looks like black and chrome.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Their customer list is sort of impressive. If it's good enough for NASCAR, I think my lil 75hp harley can handle it too.

Looks about as shiny as chrome.
Doesn't look all that expensive either. I might be able to wriggle that into my non-existant budget.
