+1 on the fishing line. Works great with the hair dryer.

I just removed the "letter openers" from the tank of my '11 Fat Bob. After searching the forum, I decided to just heat the decals with the hair dryer & pry with my fingers. Only 1 chipped fingernail & the decals pulled right off. I just kept heating until they started to lift as I pried. Most of the adhesive came with the decals. I just heated what was left on the tank & rolled it up with my thumb. No sticky residue left behind.
