True Track and Oil Leak?

Default True Track and Oil Leak?
So I have to take my bike back to my mechanic. He did a 15k service, replaced the engine mounts and installed true track. Bike didn't leak a drop prior to service/installation. Anyone have experience with this? I have midmount pegs and it seems to be leaking from the front, near the true track...I am going to let the bike cool, wash, then see if I can spot the leak.

Maybe he spilled a bit of oil when changing the oil filter or the filter is cross threaded. Filter is just above the TT.

I fitted my own TT kit and I can't see how it can affect the oil system. I think your oil problem is a coincidence. There is probably a simple solution and I hope he fixes it for you.

The TT should not effect the oil system...
Sounds like mechanic error on the oil change...

probably oil from the oil change that wasn't cleaned up

100 bucks says he spilled oil all over the front of the motor, the mount and the True Track when he pulled the filter. Will be gone after a few rides IMHO.

Spray the filter area with brake cleaner and wipe it clean. See if it still leaks.

Thats good to cover that new mount with fresh oil. It will help break it in so it will fail sooner. WOW
