Fat Bob Tuning
Im new to this forum, and curently living in Norway. But i have a Fat Bob standing in Fort Myers that use to ride everytime im in Florida

And know i want to upgrade it, and im in a bit of a hurry since im going back to FL in about a week....
Im considering to upgrade my 2011 Fat Bob with:
- Vance & Hines 2-1 Big Radius exhaust
- Screamin Eagle Heavy breather air cleaner
- and the Screamin Eagle Pro super tuner
Does anyone know of some god dyno guys in the Fort Myers area??
Someone said that i should consider the power comander instead of the SEPST, bacause then no dyno tune was required. Does anyone know if this is a good idea or not??
I love my bike but i need some more power from it

And im sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum...
The one thing that is good about the SERT is that it does not have to piggy back on the bike. I've had issues with the pc-v and water (but dynojet was great and sent me a new one no questions asked).
That said, you would have to get the bike dyno'd w/ the SERT which is an added cost. Also, whenever you make a change to the bike have to you may have to dyno it again.
Another option you may want to look into is Dynojet's Vision tuner. It works similar to the SERT as it's not a piggy back device (if you don't want it to be) and will re-flash the map tables on the ECM using downloadable maps similar to the power commander.
If you want more power and better drivability you need a custom map and sophisticated tuner. PCs are an add on module that takes some time to install and can fail... but a pro can set them up for max power pretty quick and cheaply. The PC disables the closed loop adjustments the ECU routinely makes to different fuels and conditions.
The SEPT (and TTS) is zero install time and you don't really need to use a dyno, You can use some sweat equity and do the tune yourself. You will spend more money to hire a pro to dyno tune as there are more adjustments available to tinker with. You will get as least as much power as the PC, probably more with much smoother power delivery, better mpg, and better behaved on the streets... if you care.
Look at the TTS kit as an alternative.
The quickest method would be a TTS kit or the SEPT with a canned map (which are pretty good) and when you have time and the desire, do a custom tune yourself (or hire a pro). It would take you 15-30 minutes to unbox the tuner, connect to the bike, install software on your PC, and squirt a new map in.... then ride off with plenty of smiles.
That's just My opinion of course.
I think that for canned maps the pc-v is better, while for dynos the sert would be better.
Thanks for all the response.. I went for the SERT but with the Screamin Eagle Ventilator air cleaner...
All parts are ordered and just waiting to get installed. I hope to get everything done this weekend, but i have never installed an exhaust before, so i'm a bit nervous

Does you bike sound and run great? I'm a bit curious about the sound of the exhaust, and the performance i will get.
