I'm finally hoping to ride my Dyna home today. I have been out of work for a few days with 20 stitches in my face. I smashed it on my bedside table in my sleep although you really should see the other guy I have been a violent sleeper for years and it finally got me. I'm going to actually see a Dr. about this now. Regardless, I will be riding my Dyna home today and will get some pics for you all as well. Hoping for my new wheels to roll in in time for my B Day which is this weekend although I am not holding my breath.
Now that I am not taking that Norco anymore I cannot sleep but I feel much better without it. That stuff is evil. Here I am up at 3:30 am ready to work after 4 days off. So when I get to the shop I'll snap some pics and post them. My how I have missed my Dyna.
Another thing I realized when I had the gold valves put in my shocks last week was that whoever disassembled them last put them back together the wrong way. Where the valves go in, the piece that they attach to was in upside down so I am hoping for a much better ride than it already had although the ride was already so much better than any other Harley I have ridden in the past.
So, a few more hours and I should be Dyna mobbin' again. I also got a customized license plate for my bike but that is top secret until it arrives which is going to be a while. Long live the Dyna.
Bike is on the lift getting the clutch spring put in now. Hopefully that will cure the slippage. If not I'll get new plates and get them in on the weekend. Pics later on this afternoon.
So Still no pics but I rode the Dyna home finally. It's too dark now but I'll get some tomorrow. First off my slipping clutch is fixed. S/E Clutch spring, a clutch adjustment and Drag primary oil. The front end is much more responsive and quite a bit stiffer than before. I have not had a chance to mess with the adjustments at all, I only rode home tonight. I had set the adjuster at the bottom on all the way, the round adjuster on top on all the way, and did not mess with the screw on top or the spring compression at all which is set at 5 lines right now. the bumps were soaked up even better than before and there is not excessive dive upon braking anymore either.
I am sure it will take a while to get it all dialed in but it is night and day compared to what it was before so I am a happy camper. The lower legs and fork boots look killer and new rims should be in next week. Next up motor fix on this leak and see what else might be wrong. Oh how I missed my T Sport. And I tired out my full face (Arai) with my T today and there is absolutely no buffeting at all. I can actually ride with the shield all the way open with my regular glasses on to about 60 MPH without issue. Anyway, early in the morning it is definitely full face weather now by work (in the 40's) so it looks like full face until spring. I'll report back with pics tomorrow.
This was my first ride with the LP bags and although they were completely empty as I rode in on a different bike (sporty) with my messenger bag they seemed to work out fine. I will load them up for the ride in tomorrow and see how they are. I did put a USPS small Priority Mail box in one to take to the post office but that really does not count as it is only a few blocks and the box is so small and light.
Face is fine with a helmet, even a full face. It is full face weather now at 5 am. Anyway, I got one quick pic this morning although it is foggy as can be so the lowers just look black.
Here ya go. All that waiting for this. LOL.
New wheels should be in at the end of the week or early next week. I have new rotors for them and tires as well. I am selling these wheels and rotors. $400 for the two front rotors and $300 for the wheels. You pay actual shipping costs if anyone is interested. The wheels come with the Michelin Commander Tires as well. If the sun comes out today I'll grab the real camera and snap some pics.

Would you post some better pics of the fork boots and the part # for me?
