well i did loose some oil when pulling the springs out. gain 3/4" of travel. i am going to disassemble the forks the weekend to check the dampner springs

I am thinking that he used 2 top out springs and then cut the spacer for a 1 inch drop, you use 2 top out springs if you do the 2 in drop, i am thinking that is where the fork travel is being eaten up... if it had way to much oil in it they would have blown the seals
