So now the front and rear are lowered. I didn't go to crazy up front, a 2" spacer for just a 1" drop up front. I only rode around the block and the front doesn't dip and seems more solid. I can't wait to get more time in the seat and try it out. I also put the rear shock to the first pre-load and hit a few big bumps and no bottoming out or fender hitting with the 412 HD's back there.....yet. Plus a lot smoother from what I can tell is a 1/4 spin around the block.
Before...
After.....This is with the stock jiffy with no mods to it and my driveway slopes down, so it still works. I have a lowered jiffy already, but I didn't feel like putting it on tonight.
Thanks, I did search but found so many different results.
I already cut them to 1.5" so we'll see how that looks after I get the bike down off the lift. I'm thinking now that that was probably too much and I should have went to only 2".
Let us know how you get on with the 1.5" & also pic's if poss, I've got the same kit ready to fit & yes, it just states cut to an inch but no mention to the actual drop the inch spacer will give? Read some posts on here but they seem to contradict what size spacer gives what particular drop?

It'll most likely be the end of the week before my bikes down off the lift. I'll post a picture or two when I'm done.
Check out my sig pic. 1" spacer in front springs = 2" drop
2" spacer = 1" drop
Bike does not look that low, but I had to put a shorter Jiffy stand on so that the bike would not fall over due to no lean angle.
Gommee, how you finding the 2" drop up front? Has the front bottomed out much? Are you feeling more road vibration through the bars with the stiffer front end?
Thanks in advance!

It is stiff, fork oil made a difference. Thinking about Intiminators.
I lowered mine due to necessity, not for look. I am happy with the fit, it is much more enjoyable to ride when you ride in the bike and not just on it.
