Soft when you hit your miles and dyno please post your results.
At 584 miles and only a but dyno. Love it! Best this ride has felt in years. Very easy to get into the triple digits. Was raining on my ride home so I had to keep it at 70.
Got a little work done - rerouted my breathers to a filter instead of the ac. I must give credit to Foxster on this one, he showed it to me on my S&S Teardrop thread. Had to adjust it a couple of times to fit properly in relation to the HPI tb. Speaking of the HPI, tried to get that baby in tonight but could not get the cam side fasteners started - not much room in there! Ran out of time, will give it another go soon.
Yeah, I did that but the cam side fasteners are a bitch. I think I had the intake seals sticking out a bit causing the tb not to go in(toward primary side) enough. I think when you torque down the 4 fasteners the seals will be forced against the cylinder heads, so I will push them in for the next go.
I did mine on the table and huffed it in the frame assembled. Soooo much easier to get to the allen bolts. I got no pointers. Sept keep some bandaids near by.
allen put alittle silcone lube or vaseline on the edges of seals it aids in getting the TB in place.
I had some silicon on the seals but I think I will put some around the cylinder head intake perimeter too on my next go. I pretty much had it in place but I just could not get the first cam side fastener to thread in. I tried about 3 or 4 different tools to turn the fastener but it just never felt smooth in the threads and I was not about to take a chance by using pressure with a tool. Trying to get my fingers in there to be as careful as possible but not much room. I'll get it, just kinda ran out of time. Thanks for watching out for me!
