I'm sure Steve looked at the gear ratio chart, that will tell the story. I'm just going off the way the curves look. Not so much just the dip in the middle but the way that it's choppy there and above 4700. Just looks like clutch to me. The gear ratio chart would show how bad.

The Rivera Pro Clutch uses syn. AT fluid.
They sale their own AT fluid but I use Amsoil Syn. AT fluid

I thought AT fluid is a no no with the SE comp, unless you don't have one. The SE wants synthetic primary fluid and if to much is used these aftermarket clutches will slip is why I thought the main reason is behind using AT fluid.

This is my problem try to figure out what clutch will work best with my setup and Rivera, Bandit, and Evolution are all the same.

I am not using the SE compensator.
I haven't had any issues with the stock compensator. I know the warning it gives. Had one go out on my 07 Ultra.
Got one in the shop just in case. None SE type.

Sorry but I don't think you need to use the Rivera Pro Clutch in that case.

Same here. Stock 42k+ mile comp and making 140/130. I just take a look at it once in a while but I've never seen an issue with a comp on a dyna. Seems like it's mostly baggers being lugged around, and even then they go 30-40k. I run type f atf with the Rivera, never seen them recommend synthetic.

It's the SE Comp that needs the synthetic, if not for that then atf no problem. Soon as John at Darkhorse release his compensator I will be the first one on the list. His unit does not use any springs, bearings, or BS washers that need oiling. Hard to describe, but a very nice system that he is still refining.

Running this in my primary now with the stock clutch:

.......but when I make the switch I heard this stuff is great and works with the SE Comp:

Hey guys, I still have a lot of clutch questions and thought it might be good to start up a clutch thread - seems like there are a lot of options and thoughts on this subject that would be nice to share in a separated thread. Hope to have all of your inputs.

I agree, hey I think that RSD slant would look great on your bike.... so maybe you don't need those D&Ds anymore?

Kinda in the dog house for all the $$ spent lately , so my pipe upgrade will have to be put on hold for awhile.....
