Well it looks good sitting on my shelf. . .

Can't comment as to how it would feel until I put it on the bike some day

You're gonna LOVE the 70T. Makes a world of difference!

Not sure what kind of tuner you have, so you will have to recalibrate your speed, but your speedo will be off by 10mph + faster than stock (mine was off about 12mph).

You just had your rear wheel off, having second thoughts or just spreading out the joy of wrenching

Ha well, while this is true. .downtime to have the pulley stripped and powdercoated and my indecisiveness over whether I want to use it just yet. I haven't put many miles on the 30T up front to make my mind up over whether I want to do the rear or not.

And yes I do like to save some projects for a later date. Otherwise I just go spend more money to start new projects.

Try to get a video clip of your bike with the pipe and your 590 cams. Sure would like to hear her purrrr.

Ride safe and keeps posted which way you go with your clutch setup.
Ordered the Alto Carbonite friction and steel plates today(#095750NC). Going to keep my Barnett HD spring for now.

Not sure which fluid is best but my thinking on this is like what someone over at HTT said; the fluid type is not the problem but the design flaw that keeps the fluid off the compensator is. I already have a quart of Belray Primary Chaincase lubricant so I may just us that instead of buying more.

I also have another theory: if you ride hard: accel/decel/turn, etc - then I think that fluid will hit everything in the primary including the compensator

You have the splash tray to direct more of the fluid to the comp already molded to your outer primary, right? I think the Alto should do the trick.

Let us know (maybe take a pic) of how your stock plates look when you take'em out.

....and I like your theory on getting the oils to the comp. Put that thing through its paces and give it hell, after all we did these builds not to just potts around town.

Hey Dave, I think that Compensavor is great, have heard and seen pics of good results. I would love to install one too but trying to minimize spending as I recover from the engine build. Primary looks great with the Compensavor, Hayden, and that looks like an upgraded spring.

How do you like that 30T? One of my favorite mods except for that evil pulley nut!

Fully understand the $$. This is pretty much my major mod for this year.
Yes upgraded to the SE spring. Did the 30-68 combo.

Launched hard in 1st yesterday. First time the front end has come up ever

Be interesting to see how the Alto Carbonite friction plates work for you. I've had my eye on them also.

Regearing the bike is the best performance mod for the $$$. Night and day difference over the stock 32/66!
