Tried to post a video of my crank run-out check but Photobucket determined otherwise, but here is the result:
Result is at the max that I had thought acceptable. Will be looking at some other indicators before I make my final decision. Any words of wisdom, or request for more info - let me hear it. No hiding it, I was hoping for better
Dont use a SE cam backing plate. The OEM flexes and gives while the SE plate doesnt thus harming your pinion bushing down the road. IMO.
Was planning on sticking with OEM, good to know.
When I rotate the rear tire(6th gear) to find TDC and doing the Crank run-out check I notice it gets real difficult to rotate the tire then easy then real hard again - need both hands pretty much at the hard points - is this normal, never notice anybody struggle on the FM and S&S videos?

Must be the drag of the pistons or you have a bad wheel bearing or a warped rotor.
I will say that with my old crank at .004 at 118k my OEM pinion bushing was toast. In the long run .006 will create wear. Not a big deal now but be aware.
Not to bad on the run out man when using chain cams, no go for gear drive though. Post pics of how the cam plate looks when you take the wimpy stock cams off.
