The last time I took the tank off I installed a Motion Pro quick disconnect valve for about $20. On the right side of the crossover line I had to cut off the HD clamp and installed the stainless steel hose clamp.

How many miles you do annually? If you aint doin a bunch than Id leave it be. $1200 for an S&S crank and another $200 in gaskets, seals, O rings and bearings. Its easy to spend someone elses money....
Don't rack up a lot of miles, no touring and don't plan to - it is my "bar hopper" type bike. I have owned it for about 16 months and I have a little over 3800 miles on it. I love to twist on it though but no burn outs or drag racing.
Maybe I should just back off on the headwork and use a smaller cam with the 107"? Always liked the Andrews 54. Just thinking this thing out....
That looks real good man. It's gonna have marks, but mine was a bit deeper than I like and had some one the end of the crank too that John at darkhorse fixed. By the way did harley do away w/ the bronze bushing???? Doesn't look like there even is a bushing(is it very slim)?
