Uh, duh! Those front rotors and front wheel alone are enough to send it in to schizophrenia; the rest of the bike? Fugget abbout it...
bike seems uneven now. front end is adding peer pressure to do 18x4.5/5.5 80 spoke. as soon as the new tenant gets in, that 18 and project "roadster wheels" are getting done. vacancies are vampires. i'm already gatering the little bits needed though

Yea, 200/55R-17 is as close as you're going to get. I actually don't mind the balance between the 21" front and the 17" rear. I think that I'd upgrade the rear to an 18" if I did a 23" up front but those stock wheel sizes actually look pretty decent together.
I wonder how your Wide Glide would look with a 200/55R-17 on a solid disc 17" wheel Powder coat it a gloss black and if you were to use the HD Deuce wheel you could polish the top edges of the raised outer ribs; that would look sweet. I wonder if that 200/55R-17 would fit that wheel without pinching the profile of the tire.
Boardtracker HD has a much better price on the #41174-07 rear wheel. I think that's the eventual route I'm going to go when I get tired of the spokes and doing the wraps
