I found this bike at an HD Dealer in New Hampshire.
Bike has 8500 miles, fresh fluids and a new battery. They are asking $10,999 and I offered $10k. He came back at $10,500.
I want saddlebags but these look like cheap HD vinyl bags. Will eventually replace them with a good set of leather bags. Will add a quick detach windshield and the bike should be ready for a little touring (if Covid ever goes away).
It's a 4 hour drive there and I will probably go and look tomorrow or Sunday. If I like the bike will offer $10k since it will need tires in a 4 or 5k miles.
Those bags look a lot like mine, which are real leather...
Heritage Harley-Davidson in Concord NH.
When I had my 2005 Dyna I had Boss Bags. I put around 45,000 miles on the bike/bags and they sat out in the pouring rain many days/nights and my stuff never got wet and the bags always looked great.
To this day I regret trading that bike.
When I find another Dyna I plan to go with either an inexpensive set of real leather throw over bags (seen a bunch for horses), another set of Boss Bags or these which look like a real bargain, $580, made in Italy.
Your bike is setup exactly the way I will be setting my bike up when I find one except I will be adding forward controls and a Corbin or Mustang seat and leather saddlebags.

for my 5'7" frame the mid mounts are perfect however for a taller guy would for sure be an advantage to have the forwards.
Went for a nice long ride yesterday and really put the LR through it's paces! lots of windy, back country roads and had a blast...what a fun bike to ride!

I am 6' tall and had forward controls on my 2005 and they were fantastic. Even took an advanced MC safety course with the fwd controls and had no problems.
