so on the step where the bike is supposed to turn on and shut off that’s not going to happen correct since I’m getting p1010.I just go forward with that rest of the steps.

on step 2 my check engine comes off but the red key doesn’t

Sounds like the TSSM may have failed as it may have lost its password. Check the DTCs again short press the trip switch to switch to the S then long press to select. You may get a no resp on the Odometer, if so either the TSSM has failed or is not getting power. Otherwise you may have a code there and after another short press of the trip you should see PN:XXXXXXXXX whereas the X's are the software PN on the unit. If the PN has nothing then the software has failed.

So either TSSM is totally dead or not getting power. Pin 2 GY wire gets power from the ignition fuse, look for power there if you have power there then you need a new TSSM and then you'll need to do the password learn and fob assignment procedures as well as set your personal code.

68925-07 for Softail, they are specific to touring, Dyna, Softail and sportster as the position they are installed in is different. You will need the dealership to setup the FOBs as this is the HFSM system and you need a computer interface to set them up.

68921-07 is the Turn Signal Cancellor module, yes but you still have to do the password learn to unlearn any password.
