Have not run the 577, relatively a new TMan cam. However, I have run the 525, 590 and 600SM; all have provided the desired results. I have learned that TMan's cams perform the best at the high end on his recommended compression or higher. I have read good reports on the 577 but have not run one.

Red is a stock 110 w/ 577 with 4 retard key. Blue is 113 w/ WFO Larry's heads and compression set for cam. Stock AC and VH power duals and RH slip ons on both. I don't recall compression on the 113. I think it was 10.2. Sorry I don't have it in my notes. BUT it is what Tman recommended.

Not taking anything away from Larry's work but this cam was a dud as a bolt in and the 4 key didn't do much. It needs compression and then headwork will complement that.

A bit of apples to oranges but all I got.

My tuner who likes tman cams told me the 577 does things well, but not great. Said the 577 was always a bit of a dog compared to other tman cams and other cams with similar profiles.

Clayton, I've seen your threads and posts on this forum and others, no offense, but you're all over the place man

I would talk to and work out a plan with somebody to reach your goals. You're not going to put together a bunch of off the shelf random parts and get optimum results. Call Scott at Hillside, Kirby at Vee Twin, Darren at Sheffer's, T.R at T-Man.......... Talk to them about what you want and they can put a plan together for you. These guys do this every day and they know what parts will play well together to get what you want out of your bike. I have personally worked with Kirby and Daren Sheffer and got a great running bike by following their advice. Have talked to Scott at Hillside a couple of times too, extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
