Engine Mechanical TopicsDiscussion for motor builds, cams, head work, stripped bolts and other engine related issues. The good and the bad. If it goes round and around or up and down, post it here.
The OP should keep his post up here; this is the "Engine Mechanical Topics" spot. '00 model EFI was MM and, as I understand, lacking in some areas.
First thing you need to do is verify that the DC voltage is reading .275 with throttle plates completely closed, IAC motor disconnected and cold/hot idle screws backed. Setting the TPS to .275 is a PITA; the TPS is very sensitive and it will take some trial and error to get it set. Once set; the DC voltage for cold/hot idle has to be set; this is easier. Rather than go through the steps, check out the video link; hope this helps.

Actually .275v was a misptint carryover from EVO MM. A sweet spot for TC MM is .195. This was never publicly corrected or retracted. In many TC MMs, .275 sets them very very rich at idle.
