The OP should keep his post up here; this is the "Engine Mechanical Topics" spot. '00 model EFI was MM and, as I understand, lacking in some areas.

First thing you need to do is verify that the DC voltage is reading .275 with throttle plates completely closed, IAC motor disconnected and cold/hot idle screws backed. Setting the TPS to .275 is a PITA; the TPS is very sensitive and it will take some trial and error to get it set. Once set; the DC voltage for cold/hot idle has to be set; this is easier. Rather than go through the steps, check out the video link; hope this helps.

Actually .275v was a misptint carryover from EVO MM. A sweet spot for TC MM is .195. This was never publicly corrected or retracted. In many TC MMs, .275 sets them very very rich at idle.
